個展終了。ありがとうございました。

おかげさまで、表参道Gallery219さんでの個展が無事終了いたしました。

前半は雨/雷/雨とお足元の悪い中、後半は蒸し暑い梅雨晴れの中、

ギャラリーにお越しくださった方々、また心お寄せ下さった全ての皆様に、

深く感謝いたします。ありがとうございました。

個展『Drifters~漂流者たち』より

ガラスは太古の人が大切にしていた火がもたらした宝物です。

たき火を沈めた後の地面にきらきら輝きをはなち、

硬質なのに流れるようなやわらかなフォルムをした物質が残ったものがガラスだったのです。

その昔から今まで、膨大な時間、数えきれない季節を重ね、

人々の手と、進化する文明とともに、ガラスは静かにゆっくりと生きづいてきました。

そんなガラスという素材から、たくさんのイメージとインスピレーションを得て、

私のトンボ玉は生まれます。

Long ago, glass was cherished as a pyrogenic treasure. 

Hard in texture yet graceful and fluid in form, it was the glittering substance lying among the embers of ancient bonfires. Quietly and unassumingly, glass has lived on through countless seasons and passed through countless hands, evolving together with the evolution of mankind. This is the material I work with and the source of my inspiration; this is the origin of my glass beads.
